Reith Guitars 3-Day Approval Policy:
We will ship any one of our fine instruments in stock on approval so that you can try it without obligation to purchase, for a three-day trial period.

To request an instrument for approval:

Contact us and reserve the instrument you wish to purchase so it doesn't get sold unexpectedly.
Send a money order or a bank check, or phone in your credit card information
(we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal).
We will ship the instrument, upon full payment, via UPS and you will have 3 days FROM DELIVERY to evaluate the instrument.
All shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
The instrument, case and all accessories must remain in original factory condition. This includes all papers, warranties, included accessories and tags. If anything is altered approval privileges will not apply and a refund will be declined.

If the instrument is to be returned, securely pack the instrument in its case and its original packing materials and ship via UPS insured PREPAID. Once we receive the instrument we will refund the instrument's price, excluding any shipping.

Reith Guitars Limited Lifetime Guitar Warranty:
Reith Guitars warrants its custom instruments to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original retail purchaser, subject to the limitations set forth herein. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser when the instrument is purchased from an authorized Reith Guitars dealer, and requires the purchaser to supply a copy of the original proof of purchase (original sales receipt with the instrument serial number and his/her name indicated as the purchaser, thereon) at the time service is requested.

Electronic components, tuning machines, and case hardware are warranted for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.

Repair service of defects covered by this warranty can be performed only at a Reith Guitars authorized warranty service center, as designated by Reith Guitars. Remedies beyond normal service repair of any Reith Guitars instrument require both an evaluation of the defect and a direct recommendation from a Reith Guitars authorized service center for alternative considerations. Your Reith Guitars dealer may also be authorized for warranty service and should be the first point of contact when service of any kind is required for your Reith Guitars guitar.

All transportation, insurance and freight charges associated with warranty service and repairs on Reith Guitars guitars are the responsibility of the purchaser, as is any service initiated for the purpose of customizing adjustments beyond factory specifications. Initial standard setup and adjustment of the instrument and its components at the time of purchase are considered normal dealer preparation.

Limitations and exclusions

The following items are not covered by this warranty.

Any instrument whose serial number is missing, or has been altered or tampered with in any fashion.
Any instrument purchased from anyone other than an authorized Reith Guitars dealer.
Strings and batteries.
Normal wear and tear on any part of the instrument including jacks, controls and switches, worn frets, plated surfaces, tuning machines, pickguards, saddles and nuts, etc.
Instruments which have been serviced by unauthorized persons (any person other than Reith Guitars authorized service centers and technicians holding a certificate of warranty service authorization for the period during which the work was performed).
Defects in finishes, or cracks, splitting, or warpage of wood due to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to sun, fire, moisture, body salts and acids, or other chemicals.
Case and case hardware wear and tear.
All other defects and deterioration due to normal usage, wear and tear, aging, accidents, neglect, abuse, or acts of Nature.

Reith Guitars assumes no liability for property damage resulting from failure of this product nor any loss of income, satisfaction, or damages arising from the loss of use of same due to defects or availability of same during service.

Any warranties implied by law (including warranties of merchantability or fitness) are limited to the duration of this express limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

*Applicable in the US and Canada only. Warranties outside these countries are as defined by the authorized Reith Guitars Distributor for your country or region, and may vary from the above in terms and/or length.

All warranty work require a warranty authorization number. Contact Reith Guitars prior to any warranty claims.

All Reith Guitars instruments are set up at our shop with D'Addario Custom Reith strings. We cannot guarantee top performance of your instrument if strings other than D'Addario Custom Reith strings, are used.
